Why Hire a Wedding Planner?

Getting married is an incredible milestone in your life. It might feel surreal, like you’re in a dream you always knew you’d have one day. You are excited about the love it represents and all of the family and friends that are here to support you. What you may not have expected is the new jobs you’ve just innocently accepted: CEO, Researcher and Receptionist of Your Very Own Wedding, Inc. Congrats!
Planning a wedding consists of blending thousands of smart decisions into one spectacular event. Hiring a planner is the easiest way to make that time a wonderful experience rather than a stress trigger. With a planner you can be as involved or uninvolved as you desire, it is still your big day and your vision, just less of a chore, blissful like you always dreamed. We all know there is no option to having a venue, a photographer, the dress, there’s no question about it. Unfortunately, most people don’t realize that a planner was just as much of a necessity, until it’s too late — it’s your wedding day, and rather than sitting pretty in the makeup chair with a calm smile on your face, you, your bridesmaids and your mom are all on your phones, desperately trying to track down your missing veil, giving your lost florist directions, reminding your brother what time to show up at, all while hoping, praying, that the reception ends up looking at least somewhat like you wanted it to. It doesn’t have to be like that, make the decision early that you are going to make this easy on yourself, let a planner do what we are good at, and relax. Enjoy your engagement!
